The Final Frontier

We were huge Star Trek fans and never missed an episode; pre-DVR. I made this quilt for Alex's bunk bed. It has cut-out corners at the bottom for the bed posts, and is long enough to cover the pillow. It's made to fit a twin bed, but is pictured on a full size bed here. It includes 7 pieced stars, all with different designs. I originally tied it instead of quilting, but when I took it out of storage recently, I decided to go ahead and add quilting to the ties. It shows some signs of wear, but is still a really cool quilt.
