This is the third quilt I have made from scraps and I think I can finally say it's time to make a planned quilt with actual yardage. I still have a small, more manageable bin of scraps, and I'm sure will have enough to make another scrappy quilt in time. In fact, there are six squares on the design wall that I haven't used. I could have added another row to this one, but it would have thrown off the color balance. I'll keep the extra squares until inspiration strikes.
I'm pretty proud of the sharp points on this one, and the uniqueness of each square. The white squares are a textured fabric, leftover from a duvet cover donated to me during the pandemic to make masks. I decided to tack them instead of quilting them, to not interfere with the fabric's texture. The rest of the quilt is machine quilted with a walking foot.
